Happy Easter!

When I came upstairs Easter morning . . .

"Look at this basket! Oh! Hey, I cannot open this egg!"

"Or this one!"
"Can anybody help me?"

"Oh. It is candy."

Elmo stickers and airplanes - I love this Easter Bunny deal!

"Yes, momma?"

Here I am refusing to let mom take my picture sitting on my rocking chair.

And then we went to church.

I was a little tired after church . . . Easter is a busy Sunday!

(Don't you love my Easter outfit? Thank you, mimi and pops!)

I relaxed for a few minutes with Puppy.

Then I read a new book the Bunny brought me.

And then I took a nice nap. Apparently, the Easter Bunny(ies) took a nap, too.

For the love of Easter candy

Yesterday, momma and daddy let me have a piece of Easter candy every time I went to the potty in the toilet.

At one point, after going potty and getting a piece of candy, I decided I needed to go potty again about 10 minutes later.

I sat on the potty and nothing happened.

And nothing happened.

And nothing happened.

Finally, I looked down and said, "Come on penis, we need some Easter candy!"

A few Egg Hunt pics with the iPhone

This is getting heavy.

The world was all before me, where to choose . . .

"Look at my eggs!"

Now if only it would rain . . . what was that about April showers? We would not know around here . . .

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an egg hunt at church today. You can see me on the right side of this picture. David (red shirt) is telling the preschoolers stories about Easter.
Auntie Manda and Auntie Em took all of these pictures! Thank you!

While the preschoolers met in one place, the elementary kids played games with my momma.
Here they are jumping.

And getting ready to jump.

After the stories came the hunt!

And the eating of candy!

Check out Elyse's shades!

We came back to the Narthex after we found all the eggs.

Here's momma giving us directions about "fishing" for goodie bags.

Jimp was the bunny in charge of the fishing.

Look at all of this!

Clearly daddy and are both making a face at something we don't like. "We match."

Miller and Blakeley are bunnies.

See me putting my empty eggs in the box?

Listen to this, Emmies brought cupcakes! When we had dinner with her this week, I told her that after we found our eggs we would have cupcakes. She decided to make that happen! Wow! Emmies is amazing. See me eating the pink icing? Thank you, Emmies.

Mutti and Babee

A couple of weeks ago (sorry not to get this posted sooner) I had an amazing Monday. I got to go to Mutti's house and then to Babee's house! What fun!

This is Babee (pronounced Bobbie - this is what her grandsons call her and she let's me call her this special name as well.) We are making numbers out of straws. Poppy was there, too but he is not in the picture. Sorry, Poppy, we will take your picture next time. Poppy likes to play ball with me!

Mutti and I love to play the piano together. And, as you can see, PupPup enjoys playing piano as well.

One day I told momma:
"Mutti is your sister and Babee is her mother."

This is not an exact representation of our relationship but . . .

Dragon Diet

Mid discussion of putting poo poo in the potty:

Owen: "Dragons eat poo poo, right?"
Mom: "Really?"
Owen: "Yes. Black dragons eat poo poo."
Mom: "Oh."
Owen: "And red dragons eat fire."
Mom: " I had no idea."
Owen: "Green dragons eat leaves."
Mom: "My goodness."
Owen: "Blue dragons eat little bitty mosquitos."

Austin Zoo (Post 2)

Look at these bears . . .

"You're the momma bear!"

Did you notice our shirts? Thing 1 and Thing 2 . . . what fun!

"How tall is the baby bear?"

"How tall is the momma bear?"

"Do I look like the baby bear? Does daddy look like a daddy bear?"

A little more lion admiration.

These turtles were having a very long talk about what they might like to do next. One turtle suggested a walk. The other turtle countered with the idea of a nap.

I will say that I loved to see the animals. I will also say that I loved to climb the fences.

Duck!

Duck!

Goose!

Climb the fence, look at a monkey, climb back down . . .

There was a petting zoo. Goats are actually quite soft.

I most enjoyed the view when daddy or momma held me.

I needed some water after all my fun. I drank water while riding the train.
That's right, a train!
Can you believe that I was able to ride a train? It was so very much fun! (Our apologies that there are no actual pictures of the train.)

Look at this snake!

We had so much fun at the Austin Zoo.
