a sail to Galveston

After Christmas, Daddy, Mimi, Momma, and I sailed to Galveston! It takes about 6 hours to get there!

It was COLD!

And a ton of fun!
We sailed beside the ship channel for much of the trip and there are always interesting barges, tug boats, and other such things to see.

Galveston!
Here I am with Daddy looking at all the interesting things to see - oil rigs, cruise ships, bananas being unloaded, and more.

We docked at Harbor House.  It is just to the left of this picture.  That is a cruise ship. We saw FIVE unload and load over our three days.

We even went on a dolphin cruise!  We saw several dolphins.  It was very exciting!

Galveston is fun, too!  We walked along the strand and enjoyed the shops and people.

And some ice cream!  It is never too cold to enjoy ice cream.

Christmas Morning

I asked for dominoes for Christmas and . . . DOMINOES!!!

These are GREAT for domino challenges!  A bell, stairs, and tons of dominoes!

 And what's this?

 A wii?!

 Bowling on wii

Doing the happy dance after a strike!

 Hello Mario Kart!

This is actually harder than it looks!

One of my friends from church gave me these ornaments that you can paint.  Neat right?

And check this out!  It is called Snap Circuits!  And boy is it cool.  You can connect different things in an electrical loop and make them work like a light, a siren, and a fan!

Holiday Happenings

Lighting the Menorah:

I love lighting the Menorah and praying.

A package came in the mail for me and it wasn't even a Christmas present so I got to open it right away!

 It's a Chuggington ornament!

And Cat in the Hat!  Thank you, Mimi and Pops!

They also sent Daddy's recorder from when he was a kid!

 What fun!
