Trip: Mimi's and Pop's Pictures

As I told you, mimi and pops came to Charlotte to take care of me while momma and daddy went to their Alliance of Baptists meeting. We had so much fun.

We went swimming! Pops taught me to put my mouth under water and blow bubbles!

We read books. I really love books.

We played "ride the horsey" -- I love this game! I sit on pop's foot and he bounces me up and down!

We went to the mall! I love to go shopping with mimi and pops (who wouldn't?).

Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Colors and Stickers

I am mostly very serious about my art. I enjoy using alternative canvases such as my forehead.

Trip

Momma and I got home yesterday. Daddy is in North Carolina now but he will be home on Monday. I had so much fun on our trip. I got to fly on airplanes. I was (mostly) very good on the planes. I made lots of new friends. People like me.
So planes and hotels and friends . . . We started in Charlotte, North Carolina. We stayed in a hotel and momma and daddy went to the Alliance of Baptists Convocation. I got to play with mimi and pops who came to Carolina just to be with me. We went swimming. I also got to meet lots of momma's and daddy's friends from when they were in Divinity School. Winston-Salem is only a little over an hour from Charlotte.

After Charlotte we went to New Jersey. We drove. It took almost 10 hrs! ROAD TRIP! I sang and talked on the phone a lot. I love to talk on the phone.

We had so much fun in Jersey. We stayed with our friends Marilyn and Charlie. You can see me in their high chair and playing with their monkey. You can also see all of us at dinner.

Our friends Dave and Nancy had a party for us so that we could see our Emmanuel friends. Wow! I met so many people. It was really neat to play with Hope (momma did her baby dedication before the move to Texas) and with Caroline (she was just a little older than me when my parents moved and now she is a big girl).

We went to the house daddy and momma lived in before there was me. Their neighbors and good friends, Marek and Irene made breakfast for us. I was so happy to finally meet them.

We also went to my daddy's school, Drew and met professors and administrative assistants - everyone loved me.

I got to have breakfast with Diane, Dave, daddy, momma, and Caroline. I played with Caroline's aquadoodle. She was so nice to share with me.

I also met Katie and Anita. Katie is 10! She read books to me.

I had such a great trip.

Love the Baby

Momma, daddy and I are going to Charlotte, North Carolina today for the Alliance Convocation (www.allianceofbaptists.org).  We are really excited about our trip.  After NC we are going to New Jersey for a vacation and to see our friends there.  I can't wait to meet our NJ friends.  I won't be able to blog much while we are gone but I will be sure to up-date you once we're home.

Easter Memory Lane

My First Easter

My Second Easter

Same bunny -- in the first picture you see me with this blue bunny.  Back then I was not much bigger than the bunny but now . . . My great-grandmother, Virginia, sent me this bunny.  I love her.

Happy Easter: Part III - Easter Dinner

After church we went to Aunt Sharron, Uncle Daniel and baby Elyse's house.  Uncle Jay and Uncle Rick came too and Uncle Jay's daddy, John.  We had a great time.  We ate Easter dinner and we played outside!

Elyse thinks I am very funny!

We both got to play with wooden spoons!

Remember this?  It's my old "office."  I gave it to Elyse.  She let me play with it after dinner.  I talked on the phone with the orange lion.

We brought the cake.  It's a bunny.  We made carrot cake.

Here I am walking outside with Uncle Rick.  Uncle Rick and Uncle Jay got me this Easter outfit when I was just a little baby.  They have excellent taste.

Doggies!

Logan has a very big tail.

I had so much fun playing with Uncle Rick.

When we came home from dinner I played for just a little while and then I went right to bed.  I was worn out from my wonderful Easter.
