Imagination

While getting ready for church this morning:
"Lasterday, when I was in high school, I was a lion and I roared to everyone."

Honesty

Momma: "Owen, what did you do at school today?"
Owen: "I licked someone."
Momma: "Oh."
Owen: "That's not a good idea, right?"

Uno Moo

My favorite game is Uno Moo. I love it! It is similar to regular Uno but instead of cards, it has farm animals. So if a green sheep is on the barn door, you can play a sheep or a green dog (or skunk, chicken, or cow). There is a farmer who is the wild. Skunks stink because they make you draw two.

PupPup loves Uno Moo, too. He likes to play with me. I play for myself and I help PupPup play. Momma and daddy also enjoying playing this game.

I enjoy acting as the Uno Moo police when playing this game. I make sure everyone remembers to say, "Uno Moo" when they have only one animal left!
I am very good at this game. I win almost every time!

An Animal Kingdom Story:
You know I have a wooden ark that I have played with since I was a little baby. I still enjoy playing with the animals and their big boat. I have added animals to the collection including a shark. The following was heard just this morning while I was playing:
"Shark, you are in time-out! You are a pusher! You may not push hippo. Hippo is bigger than you, anyway. You may not push. Yes, you can try again, after your time-out!"

Matching Matters

Here I am on the window ledge in the Austin house. I love to lay up here. Cool, huh?

As you know from my blog post about my new water bottles, I really like things to match.

Check it out! We all match!
First, I had "boat shoes" (thanks, mimi and pops). Then, daddy got some. And finally, now momma has some, too (thanks, daddy for getting these shoes for momma).
"Now, we match!"

You, me and baby makes three!

Advent ABCs

If you click on the icon with the arrows going to each corner of a square, this will become much bigger and you can see it.

You will recall that for the past two years I have done Advent ABCs beginning today and leading up to Christmas.

I even made a book of my first Advent ABCs. You can see it above. You can also click on the right side of the blog to see last year's ABCs and the year before.

Momma and I were really torn about doing the ABCs again this year. We almost decided to do them. Today would have been A is for Advent, but then something happened once I got to school:

Momma: "Owen, you need to take off your necklace. We are at school now. You can put your necklace back on after school."
Owen: "No."
Momma: "Your classroom has lots of toys to play with and we are not allowed to bring toys from home."
Owen: "This is not a toy. It is an accessory."

I got to wear the necklace to school! Momma asked me about the word accessory, but I did not tell her where I learned it. It is a great word, no?

Okay, so after this experience, we thought A might be for Accessory. I wore two jackets to school today. I like to accessorize. At one point this evening, I still had on my two jackets, I was wearing some silly bands bracelets, four necklaces, and I had on one of momma's headbands. I looked good. Momma got out the camera. I said, "No. Please do not take my picture."

And the decision was made. Do enjoy the last couple of years of ABCs.

Red Chair

Can you believe this chair? It is at the Austin House. It belongs to daddy's housemate, Jen. I LOVE this chair. As you can see, my "friends" love this chair, too.

Originally, Owen Bunny was on the chair with us but when momma said she wanted to take a picture, I said, "Okay, only the PupPups." Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against bunnies but I wanted a photo of just me and the doggies.

After a discussion on the meaning of the word several, I said, "I have several PupPups."
In addition to sitting on this extremely cool chair, I like to jump off of it!
