Holiday Happenings

Lighting the Menorah:

I love lighting the Menorah and praying.

A package came in the mail for me and it wasn't even a Christmas present so I got to open it right away!

 It's a Chuggington ornament!

And Cat in the Hat!  Thank you, Mimi and Pops!

They also sent Daddy's recorder from when he was a kid!

 What fun!

School Holiday Performance

My school holiday performance was called, "An Early American Christmas."
I did a great job of singing and waving my flag.

Pictures with Santa

"You know they will want us to look at the camera and smile, right?"

Good job.

Merry Christmas!
Yes, this is the first time I have ever taken a picture with Santa.  I decided this was the year.  It did help that there was a boat full of toys and that I got to pick one after a visit with the jolly old elf.

And where was Santa?  At the Yacht Club!  We went with Uncle Bill and Aunt Nettie.

After the official picture, I was more than happy to talk to Santa about my hopes for dominoes under the tree come Christmas morning.

I explained how to do a domino challenge.  Santa was very interested!

Okay, and check this out!  It is Santa riding a SHARK.  Do you see the red nose?  This is at a house down the street from us.

Catch Up 2

Thirsty on a chilly day.

And tired!

Look at this baby kitten!  It is only a few weeks old!

I love playing with dominoes.  I make great "challenges" and then have a lot of fun knocking them down.

New books!  I love to read!

Catch Up 1

As you might have noticed, November was a little crazy for us and the poor blog suffered.  Only two posts?!

So we will do a couple of catch up posts and then do our best to stay on top of things.

 Playing checkers on Breezing Up.

 What's that?

 How about that?

Aunt Nettie and Uncle Bill enjoying the view from the bow.

Mimi and Pops sent me "Astronaut Mater."  He was very excited to meet the other cars.

Molly enjoyed watching the car convention.

Well, there's just not much to say about this . . .

Pictures in the "back yard"

I don't know about you, but December has really taken us by surprise.  Wasn't it November just  yesterday?
Well, we had not taken any pictures for Christmas cards yet so on Thursday of last week, with only minimal bribing, Momma and I went to the "back yard" (the vacant lot next door) and took some pictures.

And here they are.  You will have to wait for the mail to know which pictures made it on the card.  You can register your vote, but just so you know the card has already been ordered . . .
