A Little More Catch Up

Just hanging out with Wilson at the Church Retreat at Camp Allen in March!

A little push from my friend, Elliot.  Towns was impressed!

Playing with Towns in the sand!

More time with the big boys - drumming!

We anchored out overnight with Aunt Nettie and Uncle Bill.  What a beautiful morning!

Aunt Nettie brought me these great balloons!

Oh boy did we have fun!

I went to Chuck-E-Cheese for the first time for Lillian's birthday party!

 Success!!!

Awesome tickets!  I earned 176 and turned them in for cotton candy!  Yahoo!

We just thought this was a funny face!

We had a trash to treasure project at school.  I made the kaleidoscope from things we would normally throw away or recycle.  Cool, no?

My friend, Sterling, got to come to my house.  We went and got him from his house and we had so much fun in the car on the way back to our house!

Yes!  That is me at the top of the spider web!

This says: Samtoms sef pscete has a problem weed.
(Someitmes Chef Pescetti has a problem weed - it is a reference to a Curious George story)

Catch Up

Time for a little (um major) catch up:

Yes, this is me at the church Easter Egg Hunt with my egg basket on my head.  What can I say?  I was waiting for the hunt to begin.

Story time with Mom.  I am sitting next to her.

And NOW the big hunt!

Oh yeah!

We all gather in the Narthex to unload our loot!
(I call the Narthex the NorthX).

So, this picture was taken sometime in February - before the new floors . . .

Check out my music video!

This is from Go Texas Day!  I am walking to the car from school holding my friend Aleda's hand!

This is from our remodel days.  Eating a little pizza dinner on a couch turned on end . . . we had some fun times!

More remodel accommodations.  But the floor is down in the living room!

I like these hard wood floors.  Plenty of space for projects!

And more projects!

Just a couple of weeks ago, we all went to Austin.  There is a big banquet for Texas Law Review each year.  I had a great time playing.  We also saw several friends!

And we went to my favorite Austin park.

Momma and Daddy went tot he banquet without me.  You cannot really see Momma's belly but baby Grayson is getting super big.  We expect him to join our family the first week of June.

Covenant had an installation service for Momma as the new Senior Minister in March.  Our friend Diane came for the celebration.  Momma and Daddy know Diane from when they were in Divinity School.

 Here's Momma.

During the service members of our church gave Momma gifts she would need for ministry.  Here are all the gifts collected on the altar table.

I have to say, I thought the after party was the best part and not just for the great punch.

Heard Recently

The day of a new haircut:
Daddy: Owen, tell me about your haircut.
Owen: Dad, have you had a haircut?
Daddy: Last week
Owen: Well, that was what it was like.

Owen: "My legpits hurt." (Said while pointing to the backs of his knees)

Here are some pictures of my new "Elimination Race Track."  I bought it with my birthday money.  These pictures were taken toward the beginning of our remodel so please ignore boxes and other such things.  The remodel is almost complete!  We'll post pictures soon.

Spring Break Sail

This picture is not from sailing.  You likely figured that out already.  It is from my momma's installation as Senior Minister of our church.  We had a lot of fun!

We spent the night at anchor!  This is the morning light.  We had a great sail!

Here's Uncle Bill taking a nap!

Aunt Nettie and I did NOT nap!  We blew up balloons and let the fly all over the place!  It was GREAT fun!

Birthday Party

I had so much fun at my birthday party!

Lots of friends came!

This is  by no means a picture of everyone there!  There were 11 kids and 19 adults!

You heard right!  I am well loved!

Don't look so surprised!

Okay, okay, the cake and ice cream played a part . . .

Here's the cake!  Daddy made it!  See me in the rocket?

More please!

Below is a movie that Uncle Bill made of our rocket launches!  Check it out!
