Chocolate

Let's see. I have several things to tell you:
1. I love chocolate (you can see the chocolate all over my face and shirt)
2. I have decided to make my mother very happy and say momma (I wanted to wait for just the right moment)
3. I am also saying no no no
4. I love the outside and especially enjoy walking outside. I am still just taking several steps before I move to my faster mode of crawling.
5. My Uncle Steve and Uncle Blake are coming tomorrow and I cannot wait to see them. They will be here all week.
6. I cannot yet say ball or glasses but I definitely know what they mean (and momma and daddy roll the ball to me and I roll it back - what a great game).

Here's a picture is of Zoe relaxing on the wine basket. It is up very high so she is safe from me when she perches on it.

I love to play peek-a-boo.

My future's so bright

I gotta wear shades.

Daddy's gotta wear shades too.

I am now declaring preemptive uh ohs. I will say loudly and clearly, "uh oh," and THEN I will push my sippy cup off my tray or drop Pup Pup out of my crib or - well you get the idea.

This morning I did not make a peep when I awoke. I opened my blinds (I can reach them from my bed now - my arms are longer. We have plantation shutters so the blinds can be opened fairly easily). I laid back down in the sunlight and waited for momma and daddy to come get me. They were so surprised and thanked me all day for letting them sleep in.

Making soup

Here I am in the kitchen cooking.  I am an excellent cook.   I like to get out a pot and a lid and then onions and potatoes.  An excellent soup, no?

The CD you hear playing is a gift from Hutson.  He made them for all his friends.  I love mine. Thanks, Hutson.

I am thirteen months old today!

Bye bye, bottle

It's the end of the bottle as I know it . . .
These are the last pictures of me with a bottle. Bye bye, bottle.  I have been bottle free for one week.

About my Covenant Church coozie from the gay pride parade my parents say, "Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

fun times

When's the last time you played with a wooden spoon? Well, time to get one out again and not just for cooking.

Try putting one on the end of your nose.

This is my Virginia Beach shirt that my Uncle Jake and Aunt Karrie sent me for my birthday.

I did something very funny yesterday. Momma was getting my bath water ready. While she was kneeling at the tub adjusting the water temperature, I was standing next to her. I decided I couldn't wait anymore so I hoisted my leg over the side of the tub and got in - fully clothed! In the half-second it took for her to turn from the faucet and see me, I was in the tub splashing the water and laughing. It was not much fun getting wet clothes off in the tub but it was worth it for the look on her face.

AND I now have a SEVENTH tooth!
